CPR Cardio Pulminary Resusitation - is an emergency medical procedure used when a person isn't breathing or circulating blood adequately. CPR can restore circulation of oxygen-rich blood to the brain. Without oxygen, permanant brain damage or death
can occur in less than eight minutes. Whether you are a novice, concerned parent, or medical professional looking to enhance or rectify your skills, this hands on "Mastering CPR" course will teach life saving skills in the areas of
breathing techniques, first aid and fire safety training. By the end of this course you will be able to:
o Define the history and concepts of CPR
o AED Training
o Identify when to administer CPR
o Demonstrate the three parts of CPR (adult, child and infant)
o Use alternative methods
o Demonstrate self-CPR
Upon successful completion of this course, you will recieve the official American Heart Association (AHA) CPR card.
