2425 ARMED SECURITY TRAINING CERTIFICATE COURSE

This class is for those Security Officers, Private Detectives and Alarm Contractors that need to be armed at the request of their employer. This is a state license certification class for an individual to apply for their TAN card to carry a semi-automatic firearm during their employment. This course covers:
o Positioning, distances
o Firearm ammunition
o Basic marksmanship
o Dry firing/live fire
o Firearm safety and storage
Upon completion of the classroom section there will be a final session at the range. Target fees at the range are approximately $50 paid on the day of the range visit. Successful graduates will receive their 20-Hour Certificate. The instructor will also guide on the process of applying for the TAN card through the State of Illinois. Please bring a black ink pen. Minimun age 21.Don C. Haworth LPD, CFE, CII, (see class 2417) is a licensed private investigator. He has conducted over 20,000 private investigations since 1975. He has held operations, marketing and management positions for several national private investigation companies. Don is a state and NRA certified instructor. Material Fee: $40(cash)
