Rather than just creating a resume, writing cover letters, and relying on corporate websites and online job banks, find out what really works. o How to use the top three to five Sites
o Overview of pros and cons of each site
o How to research yourself online (in case you've already been there)
o Do's and don'ts of online networking
Class Two : 45 minutes to an hour (lab)
o Creating your online presence
o How to use the tools on each site to find job opportunities
o In class set up of online profile
Livingston Smith is a marketing professional with over 10 years or marketing experience in extending and promoting brands such as FedEx, Whirlpool, GE, Maybeline and others. She has spoken on the topic of using social media as part of job search extensively at events, such as the Northside Women's Resource fair, and non-profit round table discussions. Ms Smith is the founder and CEO of the Living Press Tm, an all volunteer team of highly skilled PR and marketing professionals doing pro bono work to help non profits increase their visibility. She currently sits on the Young Philanthropist Board of the Chicago Lighthouse and recently joined Chicago S.C.O.R.E as a business counselor and mentor for small business owners and entrepreneurs. Ms. Smith holds an M.B.A with a concentration in marketing from the University of Memphis. She currently resides in east Lakeview, Chicago. Material fee $10
